SE2 LABS' INTEGRATED THEATER CONSOLE CONCEPT ATTRACTING INVESTORS
Cutting-Edge Technology Company Closes Deal on Seed FundingDRAPER, UTAH - July 30, 2005 - SE2 Labs has reached a seed funding agreement with an unnamed group of private investors, the company announced today. SE2 Labs is a home entertainment technology company based near Salt Lake City, Utah,

SE2 Labs is working on a prototype of an integrated home entertainment system unlike anything on the market today. According to Pyle, the new product will combine a state-of-the-art HD-DVD player, Hi-Def TiVo, a high-end Digital Surround Processor, high-end Class D amplifiers, an Apple Video iPod with Dock, and a top-of-the line gaming system, among many other features and components. The entire package will be contained in a single box the size of a microwave oven, and controlled by a single proprietary remote control. This recent infusion of funding will enable SE2 Labs to complete a working prototype.
"We're working on ways to integrate all the components of a home theater system and put it into one box," says Pyle, who acknowledges there are challenges to overcome. Among them: channeling the substantial heat that would be generated by confining so much functionality into one box. Pyle is working on proprietary technology—and preparing the patent paperwork—to do just that.
