Revolutionary Integrated Theater Console Premiered to Exclusive Audience at CES 2006
Companies Combine Efforts to Create Spectacular Home Theater ExperienceDRAPER, UTAH - January 8, 2006 - SE2 Labs introduced the Integrated Theater Console, the latest innovation in custom home entertainment systems, to an invitation-only audience in Las Vegas, Nevada, the company announced today.
The Integrated Theater Console, or ITC, combines a state-of-the-art HD-DVD player, Hi-Def TiVo, a high-end Digital Surround Processor, high-end Class D amplifiers, an Apple Video iPod with Dock, and a top-of-the line gaming system, among many other features and components. The entire package will be contained in a single box the size of a microwave oven, and controlled by a single proprietary remote control.
"The introduction of this prototype represents the culmination of more than two years of hard work," said Michael Pyle, President and Founder of SE2 Labs. "We identified more than 300 problems that installers, dealers and users face with traditional AV setups, from clumsy installations to circuit failures due to overheating. We then designed the ITC to solve or mitigate them all."
The ITC will seek to radically change the way home theater setups are designed and installed. The ITC system, with all its components, will come in a box less than two feet square. All components will ship from the factory already fully installed, fully programmed, fully integrated, and fully optimized. All that will be left for the installer to do is connect the speakers, connect the TV, and turn it on, says Pyle.
