About SE2 Labs
An evolution in home entertainment is underway. Gone are the days when bulky AV equipment filling an entire room was a bragging right. Today, demand is high for streamlined and personalized home electronics that can multi-task. Leading the way into this new era is SE2 Labs - the innovators behind a revolutionary new product called the ITC One (Integrated Theater Console) - the world's first personalized, compact, all-in-one, plug-and-play home entertainment system.
Designed to simplify and personalize the installation and enjoyment of high-end home theater systems, SE2 Labs has integrated a variety of best in breed components, including a high-def player, audio, video, gaming, control devices, cooling system and more into a single, compact box. The system is even available with displays, speakers and other peripherals for a complete home entertainment setup.

Michael Pyle CEO and Founder
A native of Redmond, Wash., Michael Pyle began his entrepreneurship in 1990, when he started Cache Creek Snowmobiles, Jackson Hole Wyoming. In 1993, he sold Cache Creek and joined Western Wyoming Security & Communications (which later became Custom Electronics) where Pyle saw an opportunity to add high-end audio and other electronics to the companyÕs installation mix, starting him on the long road to SE2 Labs.
In 1996, Pyle moved to Utah where he began selling and installing ultra-high-end A/V systems for Audition Audio in Salt Lake City. In 1999, Pyle purchased the company, merging it the next year with its largest competitor, Audio Design, to form Audition Systems, of which he served as CEO.
In 2003, Audition Systems was rebranded Aurant. Aurant later launched a spinoff called Audition Contract Systems (ACS). ACS was a unique business concept: It pre-built, tested and shipped complete, turnkey high-end audio systems for other CEDIA installers across the country. As such, ACS served as PyleÕs stepping stone to SE2 Labs and the ITC One.
Pyle left Aurant and ACS in 2005 to start SE2 Labs, bringing his "turnkey" vision with him. After two years of Research and Development, SE2 Labs has launched the ITC One (Integrated Theater Console) and is on its way to a successful journey.
Pyle and family reside in Draper, Utah.
Jeff Walker, VP Operations
Jeff Walker joined SE2 Labs in 2007, before coming to SE2 Labs he spent nine years as general manager of High Definitions, Inc., a custom installation and specialty A/V firm near Salt Lake City, Utah. During his tenure at the company, Walker managed a team of ISF and THX certified installers while growing annual sales from $1 million to over $2.4 million. Walker's responsibilities included office management, programming, scheduling, sales and purchasing, training and personnel matters.
Prior to his time at High Definitions, Walker worked as an outside sales rep for Industrial Piping Products in Salt Lake City, where he helped the company grow from $50,000 in monthly sales to over $500,000. In 1993, he founded JLW Enterprises, LLC, a distribution company focused on supplying resellers with irrigation products. Walker has also received training to install various electronics systems including AMX (ACE Certified), Crestron, Elan Home Systems, Xantech, Lutron, LiteTouch and Vantage control systems.
Walker studied business at Brigham Young University, he and his family reside in Draper Utah.
James Shannon, VP Sales / Marketing
James Shannon has spent most of his life seeking ways to combine his profound love of music and film with his appreciation for finely crafted products.
During the past 20+ years, Shannon has been developing and managing the domestic and export markets for high end manufacturers Mark Levinson, Wadia Digital, Theory + Application, and Transparent Cable. During these two decades, Shannon has created successful sales and marketing networks for each of these high performance brands, including representation in 59 countries worldwide.
Shannon's interest in the highest level of performance has naturally drawn him to the SE2 effort. Shannon believes that seamless integration and ease of control will continue to be the most important factors for audio/video products, and he is confident that the SE2 platform provides the most complete, flexible, upgradeable, and reliable solution for specialist integrators who wish to offer a clearly differentiated and higher level of performance to their customers.
Shannon holds a Bachelor's Degree from Gettysburg College, and a Master's Degree from Yale University.
