SE2 LABS ADDS SECOND ZONE CAPABILITY TO THE ITC ONE
A new sound board will allow users to push audio from different sources to another area in the home.Denver, CO - CEDIA EXPO 2008 - September 3-7, 2008 - Booth # 510 - SE2 Labs today announces an important upgrade for the award-winning Integrated Theater Console (ITC One). Seeking to enhance the audio experience, SE2 Labs integrated second zone, distributed audio functionality. The ITC One's modular design is ideal for these types of enhancements since every circuit board can be removed individually and upgraded to satisfy the demands of customers and dealers.
With multiple entertainment options available, ITC One users are not limited to one source of audio content. The addition of a second zone sound board allows ITC One users to push audio from the iPod dock, cable tuner, satellite receiver, or standard DVD/CD player (via Xbox 360), and two external sources to a secondary location without having to interrupt what is being played in the main zone. The second zone can be controlled via IP, RS-232 or directly from the touch screen on the front panel. High-quality D to A convertors are used to convert 2-channel digital content and output it via RCA jacks or by using two of the eight available amplifier modules on the ITC One.
Second zone functionality is a welcome addition allowing users to effortlessly listen to music in another room, while a movie or other music is playing in the main zone. "Adding additional zones makes perfect sense since many users will employ the ITC One as the entertainment hub in their home," said SE2 Labs CEO Michael Pyle. "Distributed audio is one of the fastest growing segments and this new functionality combined with the ITC One's unmatched feature and solution set, provide great value to both the installer and the customer."
Every ITC One includes an impressive array of hardware including DIRECTV™ high-definition DVR, Dish Network™ DVR or national cable providers' DVR (including Comcast, Time Warner, Cox Cable and more), AMX NetLinx™ Control System, Bryston pre-amp processor with full digital surround sound processor, IcePower high-end D-class amplifiers, Runco high-end video processor, Apple Video iPod dock, proprietary remote control, Microsoft Xbox 360 (with Windows Media Center access), Transparent Cable power conditioning, Transparent cabling and cable harness and an anti-noise/vibration system. Optional features include a Blu-ray Disc drive, Apple TV ™, 400w audio power, and Nintendo Wii™.
